Odd - there's no recent data in the files at all!
The most recent is from 15th April

Please check that you've copied and zipped the proper folder.

    That's better :)

There are no evident problems in either CheckSUR or CBS logs
Please post the windowsupdate.log file again - maybe that will give me a clue.

...Sorry That last (now mostly deleted) post was misleading, as I was reading the wrong CheckSUR log!

There are come errors in that of a kind I've not seen before - it's going to take me a while to research them.

I saw this one somewhere last week and hadn't seen it either, but have read that KB2749655 addresses this :)

Unfortunately the program states that it is not applicable to my computer, I searched for the individual KB2749655 and downloaded that after a windows validation with no luck and then separately I downloaded from the link provided, again no such luck.

The 'no luck' referring to the incompatability, or the inability to fix the problem? If you're getting incompatability warnings then it's likely that you downloaded the wrong one incorrectly. Here is the link for you:

Download Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2749655) from Official Microsoft Download Center
