Windows 7: Unable to run SFCscan,Windows Updates error 80004002,IE,Troubleshooter

I still get the same msg when I try to run sfc/scannow. I tried it with and without the space. I then checked services/module installer and it is still manual and says started.

See if you could run the SFC /SCANNOW in Recovery Environment

SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot

You don't have an empty CD or a Installation CD ? You could create a repair disc if you have any empty CDs

Actually, for some reason, even though it said it didn't work...the files are on the disk. Weird.

Lets see if its bootable . Restart the PC with the disc inside and boot off the disc .
