    You have Norton software installed - which version? have you recently updated/upgraded your AV?

    Run Malwarebytes

    Click here Malwarebytes

    Click on Download Now under the Free column

    When the installation is done uncheck Enable free trial of Malwarebytes (see image below )



    Update the definitions and do a full scan

    Upload the log . Could be found inside the Logs tab .


    I don't see any Norton software installed . Or am I missing something .

    I had Norton the first year, then uninstalled it. Don't recall the version.

    Good it removed the files it found . Why did you run it under the Guest account ?

    It said C:\Users\Guest . If I'm not mistaken

    Would that have anything to do with why I can only run some programs through the guest account? I was logged into my main account when I ran it.

    Guess account doesn't have any rights to install programs and if you installed programs on an admin account the guest account won't be able to run them .
