here you are. The command had run successfully when i was in repair mode. it said 7 files copied or something.
Code:C:\>dir c:\sc0ab Volume in drive C has no label. Volume Serial Number is C3E8-6380 Directory of c:\sc0ab 05/08/2013 10:52 AM <DIR> . 05/08/2013 10:52 AM <DIR> .. 05/08/2013 10:52 AM <DIR> sc0ab 0 File(s) 0 bytes 3 Dir(s) 142,891,126,784 bytes free C:\>
Oops, wait a minute...looks like it extracted to a self named subfolder, ie C:\sc0ab\sc0ab. It may not have copied properly. -sigh- i'll try again tonight.
Yay!
And IE10 installed ok.Code:Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Now I have to figure out these weird VSS errors I'm getting, ugh. New thread? Thanks so much for the help!
Great!
The VSSSVC.exe file was one of those replaced - so the VSS problem may also disappear :)
