Installed Update took nearly 8 hours to shut down the machine.

I tried to shut my machine down around 1:40pm ET on 6/3/13 and there was the little exclamation mark indicating there was one critical update waiting to install when I shutdown the machine. I come back over 7 hours later and the machine is still trying to shut down while installing this critical update. I hit the power button, but the computer came right back on with its shutdown/installing message.

So I turned on my Asus tablet with WiFi and before that thing booted up enough to unlock, then my laptop shuts down. Was M$ trying to steal my computer contents with a lockout claiming an update? It's just beyond odd another wifi device shuts this thing down.

I looked at Windows Update and this is the only update installed for my machine today. System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821) [May 2013] I was on M$ Chat for free last night and they did take remote control of my computer last night and I had a hard time recovering from a reboot (twice) when they didn't logoff before the reboot. I had to reboot in Safe Mode With Networking last night because I couldn't get past the Please Wait screen before the logon screen. After I killed off the expired remote session window my computer eventually found it's way back to Unsafe Mode. I think M$ Chat is hypersensitive about keys and this was just a way to jam my computer with their Windows Advantage/Genuine BS. They told me my OS warranty was expired and they wanted their $99. I told them I just used the Upgrade Anytime a month ago, how could it be expired? I was chatting about a Blu-Ray support problem of Win 7 (no UDF 2.5 & 2.6), so my external drive locks up on the 2nd disk of the day. Where's the patch for that? XP had a patch!

Be sure to be on the phone with M$ Chat because this texting in the chat window is waaaay too slow and they can be stupid as hell for $99/hour.
