    Windows activation failed -error code 0x8007007b & kms missing/corrupt


    Hi Guys

    i got an error while activation of windows 7 error codes 0x8007007b and also key management service (kms) binding is missing or corrupted.

    steps i have done :

    1. Run windows tweaking tool
    2. SFC scan - no corrupted files
    3. checked for virus


    other ways of activation is disabled i dont know why

    i have a valid key for W7

    can anyone tell me what to be done

    no errors in eventvwr with codes 12288,12289,12290 responsible for kms service

    can anyone tell me how to activate windows now

    Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

    Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

    Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

    You have Windows 7 Enterpriser installed - which is a Volume License only type not for sale to the general public.
    Your profile says that you have Windows 7 Home Premium.
    How did you acquire this copy of Windows 7? If through your employer or college, contact them for assistance.
