After a year, win7 not genuine anymore.

I have windows 7 and I have two windows keys. One key came with the disk I used to install it, and another I got online at windows7key.com. The computer with the key from that website on it now says that windows is not genuine. I clicked "go online to resolve this" and windows installed a software on my computer, and after it finished installing, it said "you may be a victim of software counterfeiting" and it said that the key was either blocked by microsoft or in use by another computer. Is this site just a bunch of BS? I got the key almost a year ago now and it's worked up until now, and the site is still there. I would think if it wasn't a legitimate site it would have disappeared by now?

The Key in use is an MSDN Key from a not-for-resale MSDN account.
Unless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key – and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.
Windows Keys are NEVER sold without accompanying software disks, except by MS itself, Dell, and HP.
You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key (all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.

Ok thank you, I wish it was more well known that these stupid sites are not legit. I googled "buy windows 7 product key online" and it was on the first page.

Oh well, I can't afford to get a legit product key so I think I'll just sell this PC and use my laptop. At school it is all I use and I only use my PC for gaming which I should stop doing but it's just such an awesome PC, Rampage Extreme III and GTX 480. I'm going to miss it.

By the way, are there any better places to sell a PC than ebay?

Ebay is possibly the best place to sell - and the worst place to buy ;-)

Hey so I listed the computer, and do you think I should lower/raise the price I have listed?

You are lucky that you didn't get taken for any more than what you did. If you Google the site you bought the key from, you will find out that it is a scam, and there are many clones of the site. You will also find complaints by people who were taken for hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars. Researchers believe the company and its clones are based in China.

Again, you are very, VERY lucky you only got taken for what you did.
