    OH - B&GG%R!

Let's have a look at the C:\windows\windowsupdate.log and see if it gives me some inspiration, or at least a clue.

also please post the CBS.log file, as it may show errors outside the SFC scan.

Thanks for all the help thus far. I am actually going out of town until the 22nd, So, I won't be able to work on my desktop until then. I will most assuredly bug you when I get home though! Thanks again!

Yeah - but something introduced unwanted spaces in there....
try it with this set instead....
    Code:
    REG LOAD HKLM\COMPONENTS C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS
    REG QUERY "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\DerivedData\Components\amd64_sffdisk.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16538_none_00698d0a036fb7e7" /S
    REG QUERY "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\DerivedData\Components\amd64_sffdisk.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_none_02618e7200897e0a" /S

    REG UNLOAD HKLM\COMPONENTS
