I believe Windows Update is finally functioning properly. I went into the Windows Update menu and it says:
"Download and install updates for your computer
37 important updates are available 6 optional updates are available"
It's the first time it's said that in a long time.
(Nevermind, while I can find updates to install every single one fails to do so. Error code: 80243004)

What message did you want me to show you?

No effect. I did exactly as it said and the install failed twice in a row.
    Three times in a row.

    Yes.
Windows even gave me a tip to do the same trick in that link you sent me to.

Going to bed. If anyone has anymore ideas for me to try, I'll get back to it tomorrow(technically today, I go to sleep late).

Try this open up the registry

Click on type REGEDIT inside right click on REGEDIT and select

    Inside the registry navigate to

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Search>Double click
SetupCompletedSuccessfully. right click on SetupCompletedSuccessfully on the right side select Modify set value to 0(zero) click OK . Close the registry and Restart the PC .

Windows Update doesn't seem to be working properly on its own, but shutting down the computer seems to force updates.
I had 35 important updates before shutting down last night. Since powering back on about an hour ago, I now have 7 important updates left.

I don't see a listing for 'services.' What should I be looking for?
