On the off chance I logged in to the third-party's site and lo-and-behold, there should be a key there. They only list it for 30 days after purchase (which of course I am just out of). So I'm another 10GBP down to re-activate the screen but...

I am now legal! *Does wee happy dance*

I am absolutely made up with this and I cannot thank you all enough for all your kind help. I am now off to collapse in bed as I've been up all night and it's 8AM here local time lol.

    Snoochies!

Please post an MGADiag report - I am almost certain that you have an illegal Key

Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
