    Good - that's fixed the CheckSUR errors, at least.

    Now please try installing IE10 again - if it fails, post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file and I'll see if I can work out whether we need to try uninstalling IE9 completely.

    It worked :) Thanks a lot man!! Have been trying for month to get this fixed..Thanks again.

    Also i had another problem wherein my laptop fails to take backup of the system and returns failure message every time. Could you please suggest me where i can get help?
