If it's still failing, try uploading to Dropbox/Skydrive or any other fileshare site, and posting a link.
Alright, ive separated the CBS file into two parts
where do i get the log from??
Open the Start menu then copy/paste %windir%\Windowsupdate.log into the search box, there should be only one result.
- Right click on it and either click on "open" or "open file location" second from the bottom.
- Save file to desktop, from there you can upload it to your next post.
- If it is over 1mb you will have to zip (compress) it.
- As an example, mine is 1.6mb.
I see Noel beat me to it.
alright here's the log file. thanks. :)
Hmmm - I think your best option is going to be to completely remove .NET 4.5, and then reinstall it from a fresh download (after attempting to install other updates)
Start here .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs
use the tool to remove any traces of .NET 4 or 4.5
reboot and run a Check for Updates - try installing any that appear, then reboot and install .NET 4.5, then update again.
i tried and it still didnt work. auto restart and BSOD. i tried to install the windows in my hard drive instead of my SSD but the same problem still happens. i cant update my net framework. it will auto restart everytime it installing half way.
