cannot update to IE 10, error Code 9C59

Hello. I've tried to do as suggested on other threads regarding this topic. I've ran the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and also have ran the SFC Scan, which found no errors. I'm attaching the screen shot of the error and the log collection.

    thanks,
    Bobby

There's one error outstanding in the CheckSUR log...
    Code:
    Unavailable repair files:
     winsxs\manifests\amd64_microsoft-windows-ie-htmleditingsupport_31bf3856ad364e35_10.2.9200.16521_none_714720152a9a3a04.manifest
...and the SFC log is clear.

There are however, some serious errors in the background CBS log...

We'll have to keep an eye on those after we've fixed the known error.

I'll post back with a fix protocol later.

    I've uploaded a file - sb9aa.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder sb9aa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Manifests, )

Copy the content manifests folder (.manifest files) into this folder:

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Thanks Noel. I did as you instructed. Attached is the CSB zipped folder. I appreciate the assistance.

update: Noel-I now have IE 10! If you see anything else that I need to fix upon examination of the CSB folder, please let me know. thanks so much.

That's repaired that error, at least:)

See what happens with Windows UPdate now, and then I'll see if we can do anything with it - unfortunately, this type of error is a difficult one
