Windows update for IE10 on win7 64 fails with error code 9c59

    Hi,

Windows update for IE10 on win7 64 fails continuously with errore code 9c59. Manual install resulted the same.
I run sfc /scannow which didn't find any problem.

I am attaching my CBS log.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Hi Noel,

Attached please find the ERROR code screen shot. My original CBS.zip is attached in my first post. I wanted to attach a fresh one but the zip is ~9.7MB. If the new one is needed how would I make it smaller? Otherwise you can use my original CBS.zip file.

    Best Regards,

There is no CheckSUR log in the original upload - we must have those
You can remove the oldest two/three CBSPersist logs from the folder, and post the remainder.

    Noel Hi,

My mistake! The attached CBS.zip includes the SURT log. I have deleted the oldest two cabs.

    Thanks again,

Ah, well - turns out that CheckSUR found nothing to complain about anyhow :|

The only significant error in the current CBS.log is....

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.
