...but are the 'missing' ones listed??
NOT in the history, but in the Installed list.

In the Installed Updates list, I must have overlooked one of the 3 missing updates as I see it dated 8/10. I still don't see the other 2 in the list. The 2 are KB2758857 and KB2706045.

    KB2758857 -
This security update is not offered by Windows Update if update 2726535
(An update is available that adds South Sudan to the list of countries in Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2 )
is already applied on your computer. Additionally, if you try to install the stand-alone package of this security update, you receive a "The update is not applicable to your computer" error message.
    KB2706045
Note If you are running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 and you have Internet Explorer 9 installed, this update does not apply to you. Install security update 2722913 instead to protect against the CVE-2012-2523 issue that is described in MS12-056
(Microsoft Security Bulletin MS12-056 - Important : Vulnerability in JScript and VBScript Engines Could Allow Remote Code Execution (2706045))
    .
    ... so you're good to go :)

    Hello Noel,

Thank you so much for your patience and time. It seems this may have been a non-issue all along, but I feel much more confident having received your assistance.

There was an issue - which is probably what caused the two updates to appear when they shouldn't have done, and blocked WU from working properly. This was cured when you ran the CheckSUR tool.

So your visit wasn't in vain :)
