How to uninstall an incomplete installation of IE9 on windows 32 bit

How do you uninstall an incomplete IE9 on windows 7 ultimate 32 bit machine.

I have tried to uninstall the update from programmes and features but it fails with not all components have been uninstalled.
I have tried Mr fixit, this say's complete but IE 9 is still present.

This is preventing any updates being available.
Checksurpersist log is attached and shows the problems I have cleaned up in regard to IE 9 patch KB2722913. The log is now clear.

What happens if you download the stand alone installer for IE9 and run that?
Download Internet Explorer 9 - Microsoft Windows

or skip IE9 and move to IE10
Download Internet Explorer 10 - Microsoft Windows

    or IE11
Download Internet Explorer 11 Developer Preview - Microsoft Windows

IE 9 standalone: Setup can't continue because a more recent version of Internet explorer is installed on your computer

IE10 standalone:Internet Explorer 10 can only be installed on windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Higher

    KB976932 shows as installed 26/02/2011
System Properties shows this as Windows 7 Ultimate not Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1

IE11 standalone:Internet Explorer 11 can only be installed on windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Higher

What do you get when you run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Please post the CBS log per Windows Update Posting Instructions and maybe someone can help review it (not me :).

Sorry that no one has picked up your thread.

Have you made any progress on your own?

The "Windows update could not be installed because of error 2149842967" indicates that the hotfix is not application to your machine.

Try using the manual uninstall routine for IE9....
What to do if you can
work through all the methods in order.

    Checksur.log

    Checksur.log attached

I have been able to fix all the missing package manifests except Servicing\Packages\Package_for_ervicing\Packages\Package_for_KB2722913~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~9.4.1.0 .cat~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~9.4.1.0.cat

I have done this by expanding Servicing\Package\Package_for_KB2722913~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~9.4.1.0.cat to c:\windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Every KB2722913 I have downloaded does not contain this package \Package_for_KB2722913~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~9.4.1.0

I deleted it in the registry but the pc became unstable so I restored it back to a previous point. That is why all the packages are showing as corrupt
