here is another article on it
Microsoft: IE Zero Day Flaw Affects All Versions — Krebs on Security
there is a MS Fixit but it seems if you use it will disable some functions in ie
Microsoft is actually saying to use another browser till they issue a Windows update
So what's the best way to go for someone that doesn't have another browser to use?
Should a person create a Restore Point before applying the Fixit? , all this time that I've been using IE 9, I thought it was 64 bit until I checked Task Mgr. as suggested in one of those articles.
Thank you.
You cannot download Firefox?
There is a unfix next to the fxit that if you install it will remoce the fix
You can make a restore point; it can't hurt.
I do recommend having more than one browser installed at all times. Just in case a problem does arise with one browser you can use the other browser to get help on line.
...and all of those iTunes users that don't know that they probably have the Safari browser...
