    Does this mean my copy of windows 7 is geniue?
    I get that after I press viodate.

    That's the same thing I get when I click validate, but I also have the genuine seal like Doc Brown was pointing out , it did let me validate office when I clicked that one though ?

    You probably left the checkbox turned on that says "Show me some of the benefits of Windows Genuine Validation"...it's just information, close it.

    Not sure what's going on with it, it does the same for me when you click Validate, just shows that page. But like it was mentioned, it does seem to work for the Office validation.

    Guess it's not working ATM, or they didn't set it up completely yet.

    Yea, Windows Activation Technologies (formerly WGA) isn't competely up and running yet. It does run, however, as a prerequisite to installing Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Hello John,

    You should be able to activate Windows 7 normally as in the tutorial below to have it Genuine.

    Activate Windows 7 Online
