    VBScript error

    Hello,

I have read and followed the instructions on the sticky but still having the same issue. Here is the cmd line response that i get:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11cf-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}\InprocServer32
    (Default) REG_SZ C:\Windows\system32\vbscript.dll
    ThreadingModel REG_SZ Both

The original message I started with that prompted all of this was:

    Can’t find script engine “VBScript”for “C:\Program Files(x86)\PIONEER CORPORATION\AVNavigator2013.I\AVNavigator\makini.vbs

Please post the full output from the following commands....

    REG QUERY "HKCR\CLSID\{3F4DACA4-160D-11D2-A8E9-00104B365C9F}" /S
    REG QUERY "HKCR\CLSID\{B54F3742-5B07-11cf-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}" /S
    REG QUERY "HKCR\CLSID\{B54F3743-5B07-11cf-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}" /S

What Anti-Virus is currently installed? - what other AV products have EVER been installed?

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

Again thank you. I separated the three requests by numbering them.

That's fine - but unnecessary, as the commands themselves do the separation anyhow.

There's no problems evident there - but the fact that McAfee has been installed at any time means that you need to run the cleanup tool for it, as the uninstaller leaves a lot behind...

Download the McAfee removal tool from:

    http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

Click Save, and save the file to a folder on your computer.
Navigate to the folder where you saved the file.
right-click on MCPR.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' to run the removal tool.

    when complete, reboot.

After the reboot, open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following command

    NETSH WINSOCK RESET

You'll be advised to reboot - do so.
    then post another MGADiag report.
