    Windows Updater Broken ?

I have updated Windows7 twice in the past 24 hrs, yet the update icon remains within my taskbar ?

Is Windows Update notifier broken, it seems to me, I never experienced this up until the past month.

Please post ALL the requested data - SFC fixed three problems, but there may be more.

You haven't posted the CheckSUR log - or the CBSPersist logs - or said which updates are failing.

I never posted those logs because the instructions in post #2 never mentioned to post those logs.

Besides it's not what updates are failing, it's why windows is not classifying them as being update, therefore the windows update icon remains in the taskbar.

Without the requested logs there is nothing we can do.
