:) not really - mostly run-of-the-mill, complicated by me trying to do too many things at once (I think I'm dealing with something like 30-40 threads at the moment!)

I looked but didn't see this above.

This sounds stupid I know, but I was getting Update to Internet Explorer 11 Fails, Error 9C47 it seemed daily. I looked here then at My IE. It was IE10, set to auto-upgrade, but I almost never use IE so it was still IE10 and Windows Update was repeatedly trying to apply an IE11 patch to an IE10 program.

I installed IE11 and all pending updates and have no further problems with 9C47.
