    2 "Important Updates" Won't Install: error 80073712 and 8007000D

For a while these updates have been showing up in Windows Updates, and they never install properly. Every time I shut down, it goes through a lengthy "update" in which nothing is actually installed. Any suggestions?

Enter clean startup: Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Install only one of the patches. If it fails install the other one.
    Which one fails?

Yes, they do. They are KB2852386 and KB2882822, respectively. I tried updating them individually, but the update fails almost instantly.

You didn't answer #3 yet. Also do this SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

So, sfc /scannow always stops at 13%, and #3 produced no results
