Why the Difference in Cleaning?
So I am wondering if there is some update that I missed or if this is something that you have to go and get from Microsoft.
I was reading some threads here about how Windows updates and that the newer update that supersedes older ones; that the older one does not get "flushed" out of your system. it sits there, basically taking up space. I know that if you use the roll back feature then I get that you need this. But what if your really happy with your system and you want to clean it out?
So I saw the process on how to do it, but it does not look like my system.
Picture 1 - this is a screen shot of where the first difference is. According to what I have seen, in Win7 when you go to Start>and type cleanmgr I keep seeing this picture of what pops up.
Picture 2 - this is what mine looks like. I don't have that button at the bottom that you see in picture 1. Then there is the next thing I am wondering about.
Picture 3 - here you can see that once you click the button depicted in picture 1, you get this screen. Now on this screen you see the line "Windows Update Cleanup", but in my picture 2 it is not listed.
So this is not a problem or a stability issue, but I was just wondering why mine is different. Am I looking at a different screenshot of Windows? Was there a patch that updated this that I missed? I just point out differences just to make sure.
My system is Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit
