Hello everybody! I have just registered so I could speak to the one man that could possibly solve this problem that I've been havin for about 3-4 months now. I have tried almost all the solutions that come up on forums but haven't tried out yours yet... I have downloaded the .zip file of the post (components.zip), created a system restore point, opened an elevated Command Prompt but I am having the following "response" when I hit the first REN command:
"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
As you requested, I stopped everything and posted here.
Looking forward for an answer, trying to avoid a fresh install of Windows 7...
    Thanks in advance.

Please start you OWN NEW THREAD and
follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)
