    Windows Activation problems

When Win 7 was released I had ordered Win 7 Pro from Best Buy to be received on the day it released. I have both 32bit and 64bit disks, with product key. I have installed and reinstalled it a few times on only one computer. The last couple of times I have reformatted and started over, when I enter the product key it tells me to go to this web site and brings up a page with 9 blocks of 6 numbers and a 1-800 to call. Then it asks to read the 9 blocks of numbers, and how many computers I've installed it on. If I read the numbers correctly it reads back 8 blocks of numbers and I type them into blank blocks A-H. It is a pain! Does anyone know of a way around this, I have never had this problem with any other version of Windows or other MS products.
Thanks in advance for any help,

Hello Gary, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Not being able to activate online as usual happens sometimes when the Microsoft activation server suspects an issue (not hard to do). Once you activate by phone as you did, you shouldn't have to again unless you change the motherboard, install on a different computer, or reinstall several times in a short period of time.

    Hope this helps, :)
