    yes, i clicked on your link, pressed download, then box came up saying open or save so i clicked open. it then said installing update 1 of 1........ then came up failed and said could not install update. ??

    Please download it again, and save it.
    Then reboot to a Clean Boot, and attempt installation from the saved file.

A few days ago, I was updating through windows update then when it's the time to restart. The "Configuring service pack" stuck to 44% and after a few minutes, it shut down.
