    <knock, knock> You still there?

It seems that I was on the right track with the first registry corrections I made - so we need to go back to that point.

Please respond, as there's no point in me going into detail unless someone is listening :)

Noel, is that going back to sp1ac, or sp1ad? Just curious. Haven't touched anything.

I think it's probably best if we revert back to the original hive - which hopefully you still have saved as COMPONENTS.OLD1
(If not, I think I can find and upload it for you)
please rename to current COMPONENTS hive to COMPONENTS.OLD3 and rename COMPONENTS.OLD1 to COMPONENTS - then run another CheckSUR scan and post the results.
This way we know exactly where we are, and I can start over :)

Yes, I still have the original COMPONENTS file saved on my desktop, so I renamed the current file and copied the original back to the config folder, then ran CheckSUR.

    Good
Please download SFCFix from here - http://www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe
Save it to your desktop, as we'll need to use it later as well.

Double-click on the saved file to run it and accept the warnings - wait for it to complete (it could take a few minutes)

then upload the created log file (SFCFix.txt) on your desktop to your reply.

Not as informative as I'd hoped it may be
However, it does show that there are some problems that I thought we'd solved!

    Code:

The security code in this folder refers actually to totally different content!

Please run the following command, and post the results.
