Intalling IE 10 or IE 11 via windows update gives code 9C57 error

Take a couple of screen shots of the Review Important updates and Optional updates windows so we can see which updates are attempting to install,
One tip is to change your windows update setting to Exclude the optional/ Recommended updates from downloading the same way as Important ones,

What happens, and what error message do you get (if any)
I hate it when parts disagree over applicability - apart from anything else, I have no idea how it's tested, and what the signs are
I haven't forgotten you
