IE11 Install Failure. Error 9C59
Hi forums,
I'm having issues updating my Windows Pro x64 laptop to IE 11. Windows update give error code 9C59 and the offline installer also fails. Any help would be appreciated. Attached are my logs. |

https://www.sevenforums.com/windows-u...code-9c59.html I do not know what *.mum, manifests, or packages are broken on my system and need help parsing the log files. I was worried that applying the fixes for Cyber Coach could cause issues for my system. |

I'm very sure you are correct. Everyone seems to be missing different components.
One thing I noticed that you didn't run is SFC /scannow with a command prompt as Administrator. (Right click on Command Prompt, run as administrator) This does a validation and I know that the results are also required. Mine came out clean but I was missing lots of packages. |

I rebooted, ran SURT, ran sfc /scannow, and tried to install IE11. Here is an updated copy of my logs.

Windows 7 32bit cannot install IE10 or IE11: Windows Update error 9C59 I am having an issue that it looks like many other have run into trying to upgrade from IE8/9 to 10 or 11. IE11 install fails 9C59, can't unistall IE9 due to errors in SUR log IE11 install failed with the common 9C59 error. Microsoft suggests this can be because of IE9 still being installed. As directed, I viewed IE9 installed updates and tried to uninstall. There were 11 language pack entries and one for IE9 itself. Managed to uninstall 10 language packs but final... |
