    Multi error updating win 7 home 64bit: 800736B3 + 9C59

When updating windows following errors occur:
    800736B3
    9C59

    Already tried to
    Fixit by microsoft
Option three on Windows Update - Reset

Didn't help: windows 7 still not updating.

Found this Window Update failing error code 800736B3. This solved one of my errors. But cannot find ewgaa.zip.

Will start with Windows Update Posting Instructions.

CBS zipped is 16 mb: to large to upload on this forum. You can find it here:

Unfortunately, the CheckSUR log appears to be incomplete - either it crashed before completion, or there were significant enough errors to prevent it functioning further.

Please attempt to run it again - leave the system alone while it's 'installing' until you get the completion notice, and then find the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log file and upload that to your reply.

The CBS log shows a number of problems with the system - once I see a full CheckSUR, I should have some idea what's going on.

Hello NoelDP, thanks for your reply!

It looks like System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) fixed the issue, whatever it was. For now windows is downloading and installing updates without issue's

The original log showed it repaired a number of files, but never reported its final summary, so there may be more problems to come.
Please post the new CheckSUR.log when you can.

NoelDP, you're correct, after installing some updates with succes, now a new error occurs: error 66A

(update Beveiligingsupdate voor Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 en 4.5.1 op Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 x64, KB2931368)

Checksur after running Surt: see attachements. If you need more info from CBS folder let me know.

    Thanks for your help!

The CheckSUR shows the following problems...
    Code:
    Checking Component Store
    (f) CSI Corrupt Deployment Keyform 0x00000000 appid win7-micros..anguagepack_31bf3856ad364e35_7.1.7601.16492_cb8ća307f27188d4 appid and keyform do not match; keyform is wrong.
    (f) CSI Corrupt Component Keyform 0x00000000 identity x86_microsoft-windows-wlan-dialog_31bf3856ad364e35_6®1.7600.16385_none_0f84cb394ef88186 identity and keyform do not match; keyform is wrong.
    (f) CSI Missing Deployment Key 0x00000000 win7-micros..anguagepack_31bf3856ad364e35_7.1.7601.16492_cb8fa307f27188d4 HKLM\Components\CanonicalData\Deployments
This type of error is sometimes due to hardware problems with the RAM, motherboard, or CPU (usually the RAM, on an older system).

I need to investigate this a little deeper before deciding on a course of action - shout if you haven't heard in 48 hours!

Hi NoelDP; just replaced the RAM yesterday (the old ram gave an error running memtest86) Here the new CheckSur logs (if it makes the difference is finding the source for update error's..)

Error (66A) is still here today (so replacing RAM didn't solve it)

At least they haven't got any worse! :)

I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.
