Just a quick comment on Seffrid's #13 post ("apart from ... the need for most of you to reboot twice"). For me, and I think others, it was the computer that rebooted itself twice (after I turned it on). In my case, I came back to my laptop which I'd shut down, leaving Windows to do its usual thing on shutting down. After the normal "Windows starting up" screen, the light blue screen stated "Do not turn off computer. configuring updates" or similar. Then, the machine shut down and restarted with the same advice not to turn off the computer as updates were being configured, and shut down again. Rebooted itself, and this time (with me holding breath) normal desktop. I had a scare after a Windows update last year and I tend to get somewhat anxious after updates these days.
