Suddenly, my copy of Windows is no longer genuine

I've been running Win7 Professional (64-bit) for about 2 years, and keeping up to date with Windows Update several times per week. For the past few days, some of my cloud services have been (inconsistently) failing to automatically log in and have been prompting me to do so when I boot up. And starting yesterday, my computer hung for a few moments (pointer with spinning Aero on a black screen) before starting to load my desktop. It did the same thing again today, only this time instead of finally loading my wallpaper, it kept the background my solid color.

Suddenly today, it's decided my system software isn't the real deal, even though it is. I tried doing what was suggested here, but it didn't do any good. When I try to re-type my product key, I get Error Code 0x80070426. I even tried doing the phone activation, and it SEEMED to accept my input, but after another reboot, it's still telling me I'm counterfeit.

Edit: When I turn on my computer, the system greets with me a message that says my "activation period has expired" with code 0xC004F009. Also, I have no sound anymore because the system thinks I don't have any kind of audio device installed.

Edit 2: My audio system has spontaneously re-asserted itself. I don't know if that means it was an unrelated problem, but I still can't validate my copy of Windows.

It's starting to get really frustrating. Could anyone please help me?

    Thank you.

Well, I'm gobsmacked. After re-re-re-entering the Product Key for the umpteenth time, it actually finally took! I guess computers do respond to threats after all.

The error in the report shows the problem -
    Licensing Data-->
C:\Windows\system32\slmgr.vbs(1333, 5) (null): The service has not been started.
but it doesn't identify which service it's talking about

Please run another MGADiag and post the new results.
Please also post your event logs - it may help to identify the cause so that you don't run into similar problems later.

    Open Event Viewer
click on the Windows logs entry in the left pane to expand it.
Now click on the Application entry - wait while it loads.
Click on 'File' in the menu bar and select Save...
    Save the file as Appevt.evtx
    Repeat for the System log
then zip both, and upload them.

I'm home again, I turn my computer back on and ... Windows not genuine and it thinks I have no audio devices installed!

I see you have Comodo software installed - which exact version/edition?
What other AV/Security software is currently installed? What other AV's have EVER been installed?

COMODO Firewall 7.0.317799.4142 and Microsoft Security Essentials are what I have right now. I'm pretty sure that's all it's ever been.

It occurs to me that I recently updated my AMD drivers (because I occasionally use BlueStacks) and it installed AMD Gaming Evolved, which I don't use. I'm considering uninstalling AMD Gaming Evolved to see what happens.

    Thanks.

Comodo has given rise to a couple of problems in the recent past - it may be part of the problem here.

This cured it for one sufferer...

You may have to break that down a little for me. I don't think I have COMODO Backup, just the Firewall. I did run a diagnostic and it gave me the attached result.

    Thank you.

The 'cmderd' driver appears to have failed to load properly.

let's see what it has to say for itself...
Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands...

    SC QC cmderd
    SC QUERYEX cmderd
    SC START cmderd
    sc qprivs cmderd
    sc qsidtype cmderd
    sc sdshow cmderd

    post the results...

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.
