Disabled Windows Update keeps updating

    Well it was preinstalled with win 8 would the same steps work with my new OS? and if so, I dont know how to do steps 4-7. Most of this stuff I have never noticed and I am not a computer whiz just a basic home user for office work.

    Yes that tutorial is for Windows 7 most of it works in 8 too if you go to the 8 forum you would find it very similar. If you just click on the blue title it will open a mini tutorial on how to do it just take your time - it really is worth it.
    If you get into strife post back here or in the tutorial itself Brink is brilliant at leading you though any of the tutorials.
