    Product Key isn't working


    Windows 7 Professional has been working for months, but now all of a sudden it's asking me to activate. I paid $140 already and I'm not giving Microsoft a dime more. Here's the Genuine diagnostic thingy:

    There doesn't appear to be any problem in the report, as such.
    This suggests that it may simply be due to a number of re-activations. Operator assistance should turn the trick...


    telephone activation (operator calls)
    Click on the Start button
    in the Search box, type
    SLUI 4
    and hit the Enter key
    follow the instructions, but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you
