kb2919355 wasn't in my installed update history that I could find. However I installed today's updates ...so should I be okay even if I don't have kb2919355 installed? since today's updates mentioned something about kb2919355
What did it mention about it, and where?
    No, w7 doesn't need a Win 8 update.

I didn't have problems installing the monthly updates.
I just noticed something interesting for Office 2010 Updates.
In Update History/Installed Updates MOST of the Installed On dates are now set to 7/8/2014.
Also, SOME of the KBs have multiple entries with this same date.
I haven't had any problems (so far) with Office (or anything else).

I have some of the same David. Initially WU said I had 13 Important Updates, which I installed on the 9th. I just counted and Update History shows 44 Updates on the 9th.

    No, w7 doesn't need a Win 8 update.

The Tuesday security updates said: "for Windows-based systems that have the 2919355 update installed." In it's description. When you click the "more information" button.

In which I didn't have kb2919355 installed in my update history, or ever came across it, but still installed Tuesdays updates without it.

:'x So, all I'm wondering will I be okay even if I didn't have 2919355? (since as you said that update is a windows 8 update and I have windows 7.) Not sure what most of those security updates were for anyways, or if I particularly needed them...but yeah.

David & Britton, not that there is any for .NET Framework this month but every time I have updated one then all the previous ones will show the same date. Is that weird?

Even if the kb2973351 mention "for Windows-based systems that have the 2919355 update installed." ,

you do not need to install kb2919355...

kb2973351 might be there for kind of compatibility update.

With the same KB number? That would be odd, yes. They often update previous updates but should be presented with another KB.

oops sorry about that, no, the kb's are different, I just thought it odd that all dates changed to the current one.

Yeah, the date changing isn't right I don't think. As I said mine shows 44 updates installed on the 9th. WU said there were 13.
