Updates "catchup"?

I got ten updates this morning which went fine. Then, at the log, I noticed that a 27 June 2014 update was labeled as "failed". When an update fails, does it get picked up on again at the next update - like today, maybe?

Oh, yes. The KB number. I forgot about that. As I sit here mentally picturing that line about failed update, I'm not sure it had anything more than the date. I'll look anyway. Thank you.

Forgot to mention: You can also check the pending updates and see if they are there then manually force the update.

Right click on the "flag" in the notification area (bottom right) then select Open Windows Update. Any pending updates will appear on that screen. To force a check for updates, click on "Check for updates" in the left pane.

Thanks again. Not sure I'll find a Windows Update after finishing that job, as it has done, but will certainly try.
