    Windows Update Error 80070308

I got this Error after trying to install July 2014 Updates. Some updates installed successfully though.
When I click retry it'll download again with slightly bigger size and 99% progress (The last time I click retry until about 200MB or so).

These are the logs and screenshots after I cleanup the SoftwareDistribution folder and retrying the installation some times

...and the rest of the requested data - the CBS.log and CBSPersist CAB files?

I don't know why SFC doesn't make any logs last time I run it. It just printing that it doesn't find anything wrong. Those are the only contents of Logs\CBS folder

Do you need me to run it again?

Please run the following commands, and post the results...

    DIR C:\Windows\Logs
    DIR C:\Windows\Logs\CBS

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

Can you do me a big favor and install one update at a time? Let's see if we can narrow down to just one.

I'm going to guess it might be SHA512 is disabled in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

Well, now the files are there. I promise the CBS.log is not there last time I checked

It sounds to me as if you may have some kind of system cleanup tool installed, and running at shutdown/boot - if so please disable it completely while we troubleshoot this issue.

Max - I don't want to sound churlish, but these threads have nothing to do with your own problem, and are likely to get quite complex enough already.

... and the error in your link is different to either this thread, or your own.

Sorry but I don't have any system cleanup tool besides CCleaner and it doesn't launch at boot. Should I uninstall it?
