Hi guys. I am trying to change the product key for my windows 7 PC however when i click on the option to do so under computer> properties I am getting the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file". Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Are you trying to change the product key while on an administrator account or not?

Hi guys thanks for your speedy replies. I am doing the method that both of you described to me and its when i click on change product key I get the error.

Admin account. Its the only account on the PC.
The cmd just closed. Ive tried it again just now and ive had success. I dont understand why it didnt work the first time though :/ i did everything exactly the same
