    Windows Update SP1 error 80073712

    Hi!

Working on a client's computer and SP1 update gives error 80073712. After going through diagnostic steps, I have determined that

I am in need a specific .manifest file from the winsxs\manifests folder. This one:
    x86_wpf-presentationframework_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.20658_none_6f09c362d04c8f64.manifest

I have run CheckSUR and the log says this is the file that it's having trouble with (CSI Zero Length) replacing. So I will place it in the CheckSUR temp folder, re-run CheckSUR and I should be good to go. I just need that specific file!

Can someone see if they have this file and share it with me? Thanks!

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

I will NOT answer request for specific files, on the simple basis that well over 50% are misguided.
