    7 pro 64 Laptop COA not quite legible


    Parts of the COA on the bottom of my HP 2540p aren't quite legible.
    Ive used closeup pictures off my phone to figure out the numbers, but I haven't struck the right combination yet. I'm hoping there are clues in the other numbers on the COA or on the system to help me get this thing rightfully registered.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing in the MGADIAG report that can help decipher the product key on the COA sticker. You will have to keep guessing.

    This should cut down the number of variables a little...


    0xC004F050 usually means that you've misread a character - either C/G/6 or B/8 or Y/V are the most common, an O/0 is almost always a Q

    Note that the following characters cannot be used - A E I L N O S U Z 1 0 - so don't bother trying unless you like the noise it makes :)
