Your Zip files appear to be broken - how did you create them?

    You cannot simply split files.

You need to copy the entire CBS folder to your desktop, then remove the older CBSPersist files, compress the rest and upload the compressed file without changing it in any way.

Hmm- no errors in CheckSUR, and only minor errors in the CBS.log.
Please zip the CBSpersist cab files individually, and upload them (the forum doesn't like .cab files)

The SFC scan - when I eventually found it - was clear.
There are no really significant errors in the CBS logs - although there are a number of this type of error...
    Code:
2014-08-03 03:03:21, Info CBS Session: 30387894_3093010380 initialized by client WindowsUpdateAgent.
    2014-08-03 03:03:21, Info CBS Identity missing version. [HRESULT = 0x80070057 - E_INVALIDARG]
    2014-08-03 03:03:21, Error CBS Failed to shred identity: Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-LanguagePack [HRESULT = 0x80070057 - E_INVALIDARG]
I'll have to do some research and see if I can narrow down the problem, since CheckSUR normally picks up on Identity problems, but is obviously missing this one.

In the meantime, pleas upload the following files (if they exist) so I can use them as aids

    C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log
    C:\Windows\IE9_main.log
    C:\Windows\IE10_main.log
    C:\Windows\IE11_main.log

    Files you say dont exist.
I found in Logs where CBS is located, enclosed files.

Odd that the files don't exist - they should have been created when any attempt was made to install one of the IE versions.

You appear to have WinPatrol and Spybot running in the background - I would suggest disabling them (and also possibly your anti-virus) before trying the update again

    Ok for Spybot and Nod32.
Regarding Winpatrol, I realized now that the icon has disappeared from the bottom right toolbar and also from installed program list in control panel, in Start and in C: programs no file related.
I have to solve this problem before trying again IE11?
