WGA warning but a valid disc.
Gooday all. My elderly neighbour just told me that she has suddenly started receiving warnings that her Win7 installation is not genuine. This despite the fact that she bought the computer 18 months ago from a reliable computer shop in town. I have told her previously( since her husband died) that if she has a problem with her computer, I would try and help her. So I am going to have a look at it tomorrow. Now, I know that people are always trying it on to get bogey, pirated copies legitimized but i am sure she is fair dinkum. My question is simple. Are there known scams going around that ask people to go into their control panel and change settings? Thanks in advance for any help.
