Windows Prompting for Re-Activation, no hardware change

I just got a notice that says I need to re-validate my Windows within three days because of a recent major hardware change. However, I've made no changes to my system whatsoever; the hardware it came with when I purchased about a year and a half ago is the same hardware I'm using now.

However, this is not the default OS that the computer came with when it was manufactured. I bought it used, and Windows 7 was put on it with a disc. I don't have the activation key for my Windows, but I did a check and it is genuine.

Is there anything I can do to fix my problem?

Did you buy this computer new with this operating system? I don't believe the operating system you have came from the manufacture according to your log.
I will check with some folks back at the ranch. I will be back.

Can you take a look on your laptop including in the battery compartment and see if you have a Microsoft COA sticker?

The installed Product Key is a KMS Volume License - and is not valid when the machine is sold. It also requires re-activation every 180 days, at private KMS servers.

If you bought this machine with this license installed, it's classed as counterfeit.
Is there a COA sticker on the machine's case? If so, for what version and edition of Windows is it valid?
