    Hi,

You are the best. Rerun twice and it's clean - here is the log:

    =================================
    Checking System Update Readiness.
    Binary Version 6.1.7601.22471
    Package Version 25.0
    2014-09-19 21:27

    Checking Windows Servicing Packages

    Checking Package Manifests and Catalogs

    Checking Package Watchlist

    Checking Component Watchlist

    Checking Packages

    Checking Component Store

    Summary:
    Seconds executed: 488
    No errors detected

    Thanks a lot again.

Now I have more damaged files from the original CBS.log (was attached for my first message) - any quick idea how to solve them ? Put originals somewhere and rerun CBS ?

Thanks again for the best support,

    Saar

Please run a new SFC /SCANNOW, and post the new CBS.log file - it'll tell us what still needs doing, and we can address that.

    Thanks.

    1) Want me to open a new thread ?
    2) Attached the sfcdetails (as I understood how to filter cbs.log).
    3) From your vast knowledge and experience, do you know why I had these ~10 files damaged and:
    a) Should I chkdsk or sfc every month to check things ?
    b) Any other idea/reason ?
    c) After sfc, should I assume no other (system) file is damaged ?

    Thank you much again,
    Saar

Thanks again but can you reply my questions
From your vast knowledge and experience, do you know why I had these ~10 files damaged and:
    a) Should I chkdsk or sfc every month to check things ?
    b) Any other idea/reason it happens at all?
    c) After sfc's done and fixed, should I assume no other (system) file is damaged ?

mostly, this type of error happens I believe because of poor practices on shutdown - either impatience on the part of the user, or an underlying problem in the OS.
    a) NO - these tools only ever need to be run if a problem is suspected.
    b) The potential causes are really too many to list - including malware, registry cleaners, failing hardware....
    c) That's always the question I have to ask myself - and why, if the problem is widespread, I recommend a repair install rather than a manual fix like this.

Saar if you are as Noel has suggested a tad impatient to shut down and don't take the wrong way you can improve (shorten) the shut down time using this tutorial see point 22
Optimize Windows 7 lots of other stuff to liven up the machine as well but when I do any changes in the registry and although what Brink says to do is very safe I always back the registry up after an install and before going in there with changes. See this Registry - Backup and Restore it gives you the chance to merge the registry back to what it was before you changed anything,

    I've uploaded a file - sp1ab.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.

Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Change the target to C:\ and click on Extract
Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)

Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
    Pick that
You'll have to log in with your username and password.

Pick the option to use a Command Prompt
    At the prompt type
    DIR C:\sp1ab
hit the enter key - if you get a 'Not Found' error try
    DIR D:\sp1ab
    or
    DIR E:\sp1ab

The drive letter in use when you find the folder will need to be substituted (for<drive>) into the following command...

    XCOPY <drive>:\sp1ab <drive>:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h

    (e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h )

run the command (it should take almost no time) and when the prompt returns, type
    EXIT
and hit the Enter key to exit Command Prompt - reboot to Normal Mode Windows.

Now run SFC /SCANNOW in an Elevated Command Prompt
then reboot and upload the new CBS.log file to your reply

Thanks. I do have time to wait for shutdown, this is not the issue. As I have a pretty new notebook (Lenovo S540) it took some months till all Lenovo utilities (i.e.) were matured to allow decent shutdown and sleep mode. First weeks/months I had many "hang" issues and this may caused all the damaged files.

Saar yes mate a lot of the problem with store bought machines is the bloatware they put on them. I know Toshiba (from having them myself) are particularly bad at shoving rubbish on the machine and make it look like you cannot do without it - which is a lot of piffle. For what that crap actually does one can do most of it oneself and frankly I think sometimes they do it just for the hell of it because like I said it serves no real purpose and is blasted nuisance for starting up and shutting down.
It certainly doesn't do anything for me apart from making me cranky.

If you ever have to reinstall heaven forbid then you are better off using the tutorial ISO from here or buying a new OEM version. It makes all the difference especial if you couple that with a SSD:)
