Windows Not Genuine Error
Over this past summer around June I helped my dad purchase retail copies of windows 7, and install/upgrade his work computers with Windows 7 professional 64 bit from the windows xp that they had all been running since it was no longer going to be covered by Microsoft. In the past month, all 5 computers have had the "Windows Build 7601 Not Genuine" message pop up in the bottom right hand corner with the black screen etc...
After browsing these forums for the past 2 weeks, I've tried just about everything I can to get them working again without having to buy new Windows 7 Codes. I know the OS software is genuine because when I run the validation test online it always says, "Congratulations, you're running genuine windows, download the MSE stuff for free etc...."
Anyways... I did clean installs from scratch, so nothing was left on the computers beforehand, but used windows easy transfer to transfer their files and settings back to the computers afterwords. We installed all the software from corporate that they needed and it was generally just a huge pain to get everything re-imported (especially with their outlook profiles and settings) and back up in running smoothly; however, we managed. Now though, after about 5ish months even after all 5 computers have had windows running fine, activated, and updating regularly, they've all decided to no longer be genuine as it stated above. The error that we keep getting is:
So, unless I bought faulty OS keys (which I really don't think I did because the company I bought them from has been sincere in working with me on the problem and replacing codes as they go bad) I can't figure this out.Code:Code: 0xC004C003 Description: The activation server determined that the specified product key has been blocked
2 of the computers have since gotten new keys and seem to be working fine again, 1 we rarely use so I'm not super worried about it, but the other 2 are laptops and don't seem to respond even if the new key is put into it, so I'm really starting to think that it's a problem with some update that they all downloaded or something as I've read that sometimes windows updates can cause this problem.
I've already re-created the licensing store, re-armed the activation, and tried just about everything apart from deleting the slui.exe file completely or popping in the windows 7 cd to do a repair and try to fix it.
Here is the MAG Diag for one of the laptops that I just ran today:
Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this problem? I really appreciate any help in advanced that I receive.Code:Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0): ----------------------------------------- Windows Validation Data--> Validation Code: 50 Cached Online Validation Code: 0xc004c4a2 Windows Product Key: *****-*****-KW8V2-RB9QG-BQQDB Windows Product Key Hash: qKkhL4G1EJsNYE0dJzGz4GMfOfk= Windows Product ID: 00371-702-8977765-06359 Windows Product ID Type: 5 Windows License Type: Retail Windows OS version: 6.1.7601.2.00010100.1.0.048 ID: {365EA4A9-7CB4-4774-9D4A-C15300CE3BB8}(1) Is Admin: Yes TestCab: 0x0 LegitcheckControl ActiveX: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Product Name: Windows 7 Professional Architecture: 0x00000009 Build lab: 7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144 TTS Error: Validation Diagnostic: Resolution Status: N/A Vista WgaER Data--> ThreatID(s): N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Windows XP Notifications Data--> Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 File Exists: No Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 WgaTray.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 WgaLogon.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGA Notifications Data--> Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGAExec.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGAAddin.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGA Data--> Office Status: 109 N/A OGA Version: N/A, 0x80070002 Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3 Browser Data--> Proxy settings: N/A User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Win32) Default Browser: C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe Download signed ActiveX controls: Prompt Download unsigned ActiveX controls: Disabled Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: Allowed Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: Disabled Allow scripting of Internet Explorer Webbrowser control: Disabled Active scripting: Allowed Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting: Allowed File Scan Data--> Other data--> Office Details: <GenuineResults><MachineData><UGUID>{365EA4A9-7CB4-4774-9D4A-C15300CE3BB8}</UGUID><Version>1.9.0027.0</Version><OS>6.1.7601.2.00010100.1.0.048</OS><Architecture>x64</Architecture><PKey>*****-*****-*****-*****-BQQDB</PKey><PID>00371-702-8977765-06359</PID><PIDType>5</PIDType><SID>S-1-5-21-2044975471-2190497291-94661491</SID><SYSTEM><Manufacturer>Dell Inc.</Manufacturer><Model>Latitude E5500 </Model></SYSTEM><BIOS><Manufacturer>Dell Inc.</Manufacturer><Version>A17</Version><SMBIOSVersion major="2" minor="4"/><Date>20110927000000.000000+000</Date></BIOS><HWID>75D43D07018400F8</HWID><UserLCID>0409</UserLCID><SystemLCID>0409</SystemLCID><TimeZone>Eastern Standard Time(GMT-05:00)</TimeZone><iJoin>0</iJoin><SBID><stat>3</stat><msppid></msppid><name></name><model></model></SBID><OEM><OEMID>DELL </OEMID><OEMTableID>M09 </OEMTableID></OEM><GANotification/></MachineData><Software><Office><Result>109</Result><Products/><Applications/></Office></Software></GenuineResults> Spsys.log Content: 0x80070002 Licensing Data--> Software licensing service version: 6.1.7601.17514 Name: Windows(R) 7, Professional edition Description: Windows Operating System - Windows(R) 7, RETAIL channel Activation ID: c1e88de3-96c4-4563-ad7d-775f65b1e670 Application ID: 55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f Extended PID: 00371-00212-702-897776-00-1033-7601.0000-2962014 Installation ID: 002312098020648515255014446533967321248132756633705330 Processor Certificate URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88338 Machine Certificate URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88339 Use License URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88341 Product Key Certificate URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88340 Partial Product Key: BQQDB License Status: Notification Notification Reason: 0xC004F200 (non-genuine). OH! Almost forgot.... I did not put any AV software on any of the computers, nor did the installation come with any. So unless some of it got transfered over with the old files (which I wouldn't even know what AV they were using before I updated it) there shouldn't be any traces of anything on their computers other than MSE that corporate put on them.
