    Windows Not Genuine with Error 0xC8000247


    Hello all, and thank you for any help in advance.

    So a month or so back the HDD that came with my Acer started to die and I was fortunate enough to be able to save my data by imaging onto a new drive. But just a few minutes ago I got the "Your Copy of Windows is Not Genuine" message and am now freaking out a bit.

    I attempted to run the activation software from Windows but I recieve an error 0xC8000247 when I tried, and Im not really sure how to proceed. The system info says Im activated and Ive never had a problem before with the genuine box or Windows Updates. Please advise.

    This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

    Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
    try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=22194

    (you want the iata_enu.exe download)

    Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.
