    Windows Update Error Code 9C48

I get this error trying to install "Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems"

I already have IE 11 installed and running properly, so I know it's stuck somewhere.
I followed the Windows Update Posting Instructions post before starting this thread, so I have run the System Update Readiness Tool and System File Checker. I'm attaching the CBS zip file.

Oh, and this system is running Windows 7 Home Premium. My system specs are for a different computer.

We need the full CBS folder data - what you've uploaded so far is almost useless.

SFC claims to have found and fixed a number of problems.
If you do a Check for Updates, does it still want to install IE?
    Please post the CheckSUR.log file.

Yes, it still tries to install IE 11 and fails with the same error code. I ran SUR again and it came up clean. I'm attaching the log.

The only thing I can think is that something is telling WU that IE11 is not installed when in fact it is.
My knowledge isn't deep enough to be able to see why - so I'm going to call for some assistance.
    Don't run away!

    Here's what I've been advised...
First download and save to your Desktop the installer for IE11: Download Internet Explorer 11 - Microsoft Windows
Rename it to IE11Update (file extension: .exe)

Then uninstall your current version of IE11. Follow the same procedure as given here except replace all IE9 references with IE11: How do I install or uninstall Internet Explorer 9? - Windows Help

    Restart your computer.

    Start an Elevated Command Prompt:

Type in, pressing enter after each line:

    cd "%userprofile%\Desktop"
    IE11Update.exe /update-no

Allow the installation to complete. Restart your computer when done.

Re-run Windows Update and install all new IE11 updates. Hopefully that will resolve the problem

Internet Explorer 11 does not appear in the list of Installed Updates, so I cannot uninstall it using the procedure described.

It is not in the list of installed programs nor is it checked under "Turn Windows features on or off."
