    A update ( for Noel)

    HI Noel,
I promised to get back to you once the pc was back and running again. It was a hard drive that failed. The pc was running 3 with RAID. We decided, remove RAID keep 2 HD's and just do a clean install of windows to correct all the other errors I still had.
I do want to thank you again for the wonderful help about the Windows Update Error issue.
To others out there... This site rocks :)

Thank you Noel, have a awesome day!

Thanks for the feedback, Debbie - I assume you were running RAID1? - that should have thrown all sorts of obvious errors if one of the drives was failing, I thought?

Have fun with your fully-functional system

Yea RAID 1 and guess that bad HD was giving sighs with all the errors we saw. But the issue you helped with was a problem not related. Wasn't first time I had that very same error. I just hated to send my pc to the shop for it so tried here for the help :) Just the HD decided at the same time to make its dive. Anyway, all seems good and working now. Take care
