Error 800736B3 when updating KB3000869 to my Win 7

    Hello!

I have tried several days to run the KB3000869 update to my Win 7 laptop without success. It always fails and the error code is every time 800736B3.

I have run ccleaner, sfc /scannow, SURT and several other tools but none of them has helped.

My CBS logs can be found here:
    https://www.sendspace.com/file/n2sh16

    Can you help me?

    Regards,

    Jari

    CheckSUR shows the following problems...

We'll see what effect fixing the CheckSUR errors has - I'll post a fix soon.

    I've uploaded afile - jpkaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please downloadand save it.
Right-click onthe downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to thedefault location - which will create a new folder jpkaain the same place.
Open this folder- there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)
Copy the content of the Packages folder to thefolder

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Nowrun the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)
Postthe new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Great - CheckSUR is happy now.

PLease do another SFC /SCANNOW, and post the new CBS.log - that should tell us if it's also cured the other problems we were seeing.

The log is free of errors -
Go to Windows Update and do a new Check for updates.
Attempt to install ONLY the oldest update found - what happens?

If it installs OK, try the rest
If it fails - post the error code and the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file
