    Windows 7 Update kb2943357 & kb2973112 Fails with error 800B0100

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1

error code 800B0100 when updating dot net kb2943357

I have faced exactly same error code 800B0100 when installing updates for exactly same packages
kb2943357 & kb2973112. I have also run through the same steps and still fail.

Compared to beehive's CheckSUR log file, the unavailable repair files are most likely common but not exactly the same. Should I use NoelDP's package or something else?

Attached please find the log files.

    Appreciate if any helps. Thanks.

    I've uploaded afile - fthaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive

    Please downloadand save it.

Right-click onthe downloaded file, and select Extract all…

Extract to thedefault location - which will create a new folder fthaa in the same place.

Open this folder- there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to thefolder

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Andthe content of the manifestsfolder (.manifest files) into this folder:

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Nowrun the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Postthe new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

    Here's the CheckSUR result summary...
    Code:
    Summary:
    Seconds executed: 534
     Found 130 errors
     Fixed 130 errors
CSI Manifest All Zeros Total count: 65
Fixed: CSI Manifest All Zeros. Total count: 65
CSI F Mark Missing Total count: 55
Fixed: CSI F Mark Missing. Total count: 55
CBS MUM Corrupt Total count: 10
Fixed: CBS MUM Corrupt. Total count: 10
Fixed: CBS Paired File. Total count: 10
    All fixed
With any luck, Windows Updates will work now.

Do a new Check for Updates, then attempt to install ONLY the oldest update found.

If it goes in OK, try installing the rest.
If it fails, please post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file.

Not seeing the fthaa.zip at link. Is there a better option now? KB2973112 is not downloading for me either, and one other Important update.

Each of those fixes is specific to the original poster - please post your own CheckSUR/SURT and CBS logs in a new thread of your own, and someone will advise
